A strategy on Creating Community Development Volunteer Leaders of Community Development Department
In this research A strategy on Creating Community Development Volunteer Leaders of Community Development Department aimed to (1) study how to develop community development volunteer leaders of Community Development Department; (2) study their roles, duties and responsibility; (3) study their opinions on work operations as community development volunteer leaders; (4) study the attributes of community development volunteer leaders; and (5) propose a strategy on developing community development volunteer leaders.The qualitative research ,the researchers collected data from interviews (in-depth interview) expert, Community Development officer and Community Development Volunteer Leaders 20 members
The results of the study revealed that (1) Community development volunteer leaders were likely to understand their roles and duties if there were the training and seminars specifically organized for them. (2) Although there were eight categories of rules and regulations for community development volunteer leaders’ duties, they were actually assigned more extra work. (3) To support them with a good way to create more performance and encouragement.. (4) If there were good community development volunteer leaders with true understanding in community development as well as leadership in any community, all developmental work and goals would be achieved efficiently. Obviously, community development volunteer leaders who were likely to be successful in community administration should had positive attitude towards community work, particularly in participatory work procedures, network development for social common interest. Importantly, in order to enhance community strength. (5) A strategy on developing community development volunteer leaders must be an interconnection among a strategy on developing community development volunteer leaders, a strategy on community organizations, and a strategy on community administrative management.
