Causal Relationship Model Effecting Success of Family Business in Thailand

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to (1) study factors of Entrepreneurial Leadership, Family Governance, Talent Management, Succession, and Organizational Performance of Family Business in Thailand (2) to examine factors of Entrepreneurial Leadership, Family Governance, Talent Management, Succession, and Organizational Performance of Family Business in Thailand (3) to build up models of Succession of Family Business in Thailand.  The sample of this research was 450 SMEs Family business entrepreneurs. The research used simple random sampling. The instrument used in this research was a questionnaire.  The data was analyzed by Structural Equation Modeling: SEM and the results derived from quantitative analysis were summarized into a statistical model. In-depth interview was conducted to verify the findings.

               According to the findings, Entrepreneurial Leadership gave direct impact on Succession and Organizational Performance. Family Governance had a direct influence in Succession and Organizational Performance. Talent Management gave direct impact on Organizational Performance. And Succession gave direct impact on Organizational Performance which was the statistically significant influence value.
