Influence of Chinese Traditional Festivals on Thai Culture

Abstract

In recent years, with the continuous improvement of the soft power of Chinese
culture, the celebration form of Chinese traditional festivals has also begun to radiate to the
surrounding Southeast Asian countries, which has deeply influenced the popular elements of
other countries' cultures. Based on this development, this paper mainly takes Thai culture as
an example, starting from the causes, concrete forms of expression, and influencing factors
of the cultural influence, as well as explains in depth the development situation of the
excellent traditional festivals in Thailand. Finally, on the theoretical basis, this paper analyzes
the enlightenment of this cultural influence on teaching, hoping to have theoretical
significance.
