The Factors Affecting the Performance of Listed Real Estate Companies in Vietnam
Abstract
This paper examines factors affecting the performance of listed real estate companies in Vietnam. The evaluation of business performance is necessary to help businesses realize whether their business activities are really effective or not. The evaluation of business performance is based on a measure of return on assets (ROA). The study uses descriptive statistical analysis, correlation coefficient analysis and regression analysis to process data collected from 77 companies listed on stock exchanges in the period 2018-2022. Research results show that there are 5 factors affecting the performance of listed companies in Vietnam. In which, Enterprise size, Revenue growth rate, Fixed asset investment and Current solvency have an opposite relationship with the ability, Financial leverage has a negative effect on profitability of the enterprise. Thereby, the report proposes a number of recommendations for businesses to help orient real estate businesses to be proactive and active in decisions to improve profitability and competitiveness.
