Abstract
The study aimed to validate the consistency of employee engagement model and empirical data. A purposive selection was used to recruit 460 of worker in Bangkok. The research instrument was an employee engagement questionnaire with a content validity of 0.689 and a reliability of 0. 964. Descriptive statistics was based on statistic program. While the exploratory factor analysis was grounded in statistic in social science program. The results disclosed the confirmatory the exploratory factor analysis in employee engagement model consists 6 factors. The factor loadings ranking from the highest to the lowest were .53 and .99. The validation of a goodness of fitted model yielded a Chi-square of 340.05, p = .0000 at a degrees of freedom of 174, X2/df =1.95, GFI = .92, AGFI = .87, CFI=0.99, SRMR = .012, and RMSEA = .05. The variables in employee engagement model did conform to the empirical data. The results recommended that the exploratory factor analysis in employee engagement model should develop and measuring the structural equation modeling of employee engagement.
