An Efficiency Model of River Transportation Management in the midland of Thailand
Abstract
The objectives of this study were to 1) study the level of the efficiency Model of River Transportation Management and 2) study the factors affecting to the efficiency Model of River Transportation Management. The research employed Quantitative research as a major research methodology. The 225 questionnaires were collected from 65 companies listed from the year 2014 Marine Department’s Database by using multi-stage sampling. The statistical techniques were utilized to analyze data included mean, standard deviation and multiple regressions (Enter Method). The results showed that the overall mean score of the efficient Management was 4.25, the highest level. The SPEED was the factor that gained highest mean (Mean = 4.36) while the lowest belonged to the COST (Mean = 4.12). The independent variables included Strategic management, Corporate Social Responsibility, Motivation, Customer Relationship Management and Communication could predict the dependent variable, the efficiency Model of River Transportation Management in the midland of Thailand, at statistically significant level of .05.
