Effectiveness of Water Management: A Case Study in Areas Rayong Province

Abstract

                    The Research on effectiveness of water management a case study in Rayong Province areas is based a qualitative method with three objectives in mind : (1) to study what does the above water management should look like and to study approaches  toward the resolution an water management problems ; and (2) to study the effectiveness of water management in Rayong Province areas.

                      It was found from the study that Rayong water management for industries and other categories are carried out via three reservoirs : Dokkrai, Klong yai and Nong Pla Lai with a total volume of 187 cubic meters and can be prioritized or ranked of its uses as following : consumption, followed by agriculture and industry, in that order At the end the researcher has found the facts that water management and flood are not themselves the problems of Rayong. Instead, lacking of water or drought are really a serious problem. The resolution for these problems, especially in the time of flood, should be seviously taken into consideration and it is a must that land expropriation for draining system.
