The study of subject "Thailand’s Response to One Belt One Road Initiative " this time is a qualitative research and document research. There is a research hypothesis is that the importance of public policy on the EEC project and Thailand's 4.0 policy is a social innovation that supports and drives China's One Belt One Road policy in a coherent manner and will empower each other as synergies, mutually beneficial.
The results of the study show that China's redevelopment, restoration and reuse of the Silk Road reflects that China's One Belt One Road policy is looking to expand its influence and play a role in both economies and politics, both global and regional, whether opening countries, trade, investment, connecting countries on many continents, creating connections and opening up China's export sector in the export of technology and production capacity that remaining from domestic demand.
In addition, the implementation of the said One Belt One Road policy continues to receive favorable responses from various countries,and is especially in tune with Thailand's 20-year strategy and the 4.0 policy of Thailand and the ongoing projects. This is another opportunity for Thailand to expand trade and investment to neighboring countries. Link to the world market, the project is connected from One Belt One Road, which is China-Indochina. Thailand is still located along the China-Indochina economic corridor. This is a strategic point of being a center for trade and investment in the region. Promote investment in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) to expand opportunities to neighboring countries. Especially the CLMV countries that are linked to the world and showed that most of the support in the country, including those located on the New Silk Road, which needs funding to develop infrastructure to improve the country's economy. Thailand has both policies and strategies in line with China's One Belt One Road strategy.
From the aforementioned One Belt One Road policy, we see that the benefits that Thailand and China are getting in the way of “Win Win” are mutually beneficial. Which make both Thailand and China have a good relationship. There is a good opportunity for mutual development in all areas, both in the social and economic aspects, which will create new markets to support the increased export of many Thai products Established joint ventures for both the private and public sectors to develop emerging markets, especially the ASEAN regional linkage that is in line with the Chinese strategy, which will be a mutual benefit between Thailand and China. Including the Mekong and ASEAN sub-regions.
