Motivation Affecting Employees’ Quality of Life in Humanica Company Ltd.
Abstract
The research aims to study 1) the personal factors, 2) the motivational factors on works, 3) the quality of life factors for the employees in Humanica Company Ltd., and the relationship between the motivational factors and the quality of life factors. 4) the relationship between motivation factors and quality of life factors. 231 questionnaires were used for data analysis. Descriptive statistics were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation. The hypothesis testing used are t-test, f-test, (One way ANOVA), and and a Pearson's Product Moment the Correlation analysis at statistical significance of 0.05 level. The research results are as follows:
In the aspect of the personal factors, 1) most respondents are male, aged between 21-30 being single and having bachelor degree and having duration of work 1-5 years, and having the job position as employees. 2) In the aspect of motivational factors, overall opinion of the motivation affecting employees’ quality of life has been shown at the high level. The finding according to the each dimension is also at the high level. 3) In the aspect of quality of life, the overall opinion of motivation affecting employees’ quality of life is at the high level. But the finding according to the each dimension is at the moderate level was very high. 4) The relationship between motivation factors and quality of life factors. Overall, the level of relationship was relatively high, and it was found that the motivation factors in work were relatively high. And minor in moderate relationship.
