Education Reform Strategy of The Republic of China: Shanghai Municipal Education Study
Abstract
The purposes of the research were: 1) to study of the development of education in China 2) to study the education reform of China in Shanghai 3) to study the impact and the likely success of education reform, affecting the development in Shanghai. This research is documentary research. The samples who are involved with the development as Donggo Middle School and Zhabei No.8 Middle School. Comprising the study analyzed data from documentary research and the transcript of the interview as (1) Zhang Minxuan and Yin Houqing, Deputy Director of Shanghai (2) Zhao Liangen, Director of the Pudong District Education Division (3) Wang Shouxin, Retirement Specialists Teacher (4) Zhang Lige, specialist teachers to teach science (5) Chen Xiaomin, director of the Evaluation Study of Shanghai (6) Lu Lingdi, director of Donggou Middle school (7) Liu Jinghai, Director of Zhabei No.8 Middle school (8) Yuan Dongmei, visiting teaching teachers.
The results found issues basic Education of Shanghai found all of Project management issues that arise from the study of Shanghai that increase the understanding of each other more and more among the administrators, teachers, students and parents on the green index of Shanghai education project. Education reform of Shanghai is used as a model of China education reform together with additional various projects to reduce inequality, quality issues in education, schools and students, the strong pairing schools. These projects of Shanghai resulted in the Shanghai school quality is raised above the benchmark, reducing these ultrasonic motion between city school and countryside school and enhance mutual understanding among the administrators, teachers, students and parents. Including being selected as a free trade area with a solid foundation.
