Abstract

The study of the successful factors of following up the outstanding credit card debt in less than 90 days of the Government Savings Bank credit card debtors. Due to, the credit card business has grown gradually from the customers behavior of using the credit card. The large number of credit card’s customers may increase the NPLs. Therefore, the study has to examine the problems by collecting information both of primary and secondary information. The information for this study come from the 400 online questionnaires of the credit card customers. The objective of this study is mainly focus on the factors that affect to the successful approach of following up the outstanding credit card debt in less than 90 days of the Government Savings Bank credit card debtors. From the study, found several reasons that cause debt as following 1) The customer’s behavior of spending and lack of self-discipline. 2) The process of collecting debt is ineffective as the telephone numbers are not up to date. 3) The staffs lack of experience and skills. 4) The process of credit card approval is not effective. 5) The economy and cost of living, which is, increase gradually. 6) Competitors in the business and the credit card promotions. Therefore, these are the reason that may affect to the ability of repaying debt of the credit card’s customers.
