This research analyzes types of errors Japanese language learners made
while chatting in Application Line. Beginning learners were requested to form a
group in the application and talk on any topic for a month. After the period, it is
pointed out that vocabulary errors are the most to be found in the chat.
Beginner learners may not have enough knowledge to manage the right word.
Using Application line as a research tool to observe learners’ errors is the
new and appropriate way to use technology for learning. Teacher could
understand how learners make mistakes and use such discovers to improve class
activities afterwards. It could be said that researches that involve technology to
teaching method like this one are needed in this century.
