THE DEVELOPMENT AND POLITICAL ROLE OF THE PHALANG CHON PARTY

Abstract

The objectives of the study on "The development and political role of the Phalang Chon party" were (1) To study the political development of the Phalang Chon party, and (2) To study the political role of the Phalang Chon party. The tools used in this study analysis of academic literature data: related academic papers, articles, research papers, newspapers, and journals by using the concept of political leaders of Bernard M.Bass (1950). It analyzed that in every political system there must be an elite ruler and that the ruler must establish policies that economically, socially and politically affect the people in the society. It was presented in the form of descriptive research.  From the study results, it was found that. 1) In the aspect of the political development, the Phalang Chon party is a party that was recently established with the network being Mr. Somchai's home network and the pattern of coordination having been changed and patronage methods focusing on beneficial projects rather than directly providing assets to network members, 2) In the aspect of the political role of the Phalang Chon party, it clearly showed that the Phalang Chon party was able to respond to the party's policies on economy, society, and politic of people at the local level to reach the people at the national level, even if the term was short.
