CITIZENSHIP OF PEOPLE IN YAMU SUB-DISTRICT, YARING DISTRICT, PATTANI PROVINCE

Abstract

The purposes of the study about the citizenship of people in Yamu Sub-district, Yaring District, Pattani Province were: 1) To examine the degree of citizenship of people in Yamu Sub-district, Yaring District, Pattani Province 2) To make a comparison between the individual factors and the citizenship of people in Yamu Sub-district, Yaring District, Pattani Province. This research was a quantitative research which collected questionnaires from 400 people by using Simple Sampling method from people in Yamu Sub-district, Yaring District, Pattani Province. The research instruments were questionnaires, documentary researches, and academic researches. The statistics used were frequency value, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Multiple Correspondence Analysis. The samples included government employees, private employees, employees or business owners, and students. The data was collected by distributing our questionnaires to the sample in each area and dividing the research topic from the synthesis of Thai citizenship of people into sub-topics. Also, we were distributing our questionnaires in Yamu Sub-district, Yaring District, Pattani Province.  The findings showed that the degree of citizenship of people in Yamu Sub-district, Yaring District, Pattani Province was at a high level. The individual factors were different in age, religion, and occupation that can affect the people’s opinions towards the citizenship in Yamu Sub-district, Yaring District, Pattani Province. The difference was statistically significant at .05.
