STUDENTS’ OPINION ON MATHEMATIC LEARNING SUPPORTED TOOLS

Abstract

This research aims to study compare the students’ opinion on Mathematic learning supported tools for Kanaratbamrungpathumthani School. The research is run by using 430 example students who studying Math. Collecting data by having them do the questionnaires. This questionnaire has 0.739 reliability coefficients. Because of this result, the researcher can divide the students into 2 groups: the first group is 71 students with 1.50 – 2.50 grade point average in Math and the second is 208 students with 3.50 – 4.00 grade point average in Math and take 8 variable to be considered with covering all the important conditions as the following: Math learning behavior, attitude towards Math, Math achieving motivation, teachers, parents, a school, friends and taking the extra courses. The application uses in analyzing data is SPSS and the data will be calculated by using an average, a standard deviation (S.D) obtained from the result of the research and an independent t-test. The researcher uses the independent t-test to compare the results of the students’ opinion on Mathematic learning supported tools which expresses that the example students from the first and second groups have the difference opinions on Mathematic learning behavior, attitude, achieving motivation in Math and taking the extra courses. As the result showed the first group of example students think highly of the teachers the most this can be proved by its 3.9 average and the second example students think highly of taking the extra courses the most as its average is 4.20.
