Guidelines for increasing personal loans with deposits as collateral

Case study of Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives, Office of Metropolitan Branch Administration

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the reasons for the decrease in the amount of personal loans with deposits as collateral of the Office of Metropolitan Branch Administration and to explore options in order to increase the amount of this loan. The sample group in this study was credit customers of Lat Krabang Branch, Bang Bon Branch, Phasi Charoen Branch and Nong Chok Branch. The data collection tools were questionnaires and structured interviews. The result of this study showed that the reasons for this decrease in the amount of the personal loans is personal factors, loan behavior and product restrictions that require a deposit or a savings lottery to be able to borrow. As the result, the researcher proposed options for solving the problems as personal selling, leaflet, credit adviser, expressway and online application for this loan.
