EFFECTS OF PROJECT APPROACHED LEARNING MANAGEMENT ON PERFORMANCE SKILLS AND ATTITUDES TOWARD CAREER AND TECHNOLOGY SUBJECTS OF GRADE 6 STUDENTS

Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1)to compare the number of students taught by project approached learning management on performance skills passing the criterion score of 80% from 70% standardized score,                    2)to examine attitudes toward career and Technology subjects of grade 6 students 3)to compare grade 6 students’ attitude towards career and Technology subjects. The samples in this research were grade 6 student, in the second semester of the academic year 2017, Wat Promjariyavas School, the number 30 students from each class were selected by simple random. The research instruments were 1) 5 lessons plans on project work of Inventory of used materials, spend of twelve hours (in time) and fifteen hours (over time), 2)10 items of performing skills from with reliability value at 0.90, 3) 5 level rating scale of Attitude Measurement. Data was analyzed using Chi-Square Test, t-test for dependent sample.

                The results of this study revealed that:

1)  90 percent of total students had performing skills passing the criterion score of 80% after learning higher than the standardized score at the .05 level of significance.

                2)  The students’ attitude towards career and technology taught by Project Based Learning was higher than before learning at .05 level of statistical significance.
