Abstract

The research aims to study the problems of Academic Administration and to present the Guidelines for Academic Administration of Secondary Schools Muang Nakhon Sawan under the Supervision of the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 42 .The research is conducted in two step. Step 1: To study problems of Academic Administration of Secondary Schools Muang Nakhon Sawan under the Supervision of the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 42. The sample of the study include 6 directors and 216 teachers amount 222 peoples from 6 schools. The research tool used is a rating scale questionnaire with a reliability coefficient of 0.97. The statistics used are frequencies, percentage, mean and standard deviation. Step 2: To present the Guidelines for Academic Administration of Secondary Schools Muang Nakhon Sawan under the Supervision of the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 42 by way of focus group discussion and content analysis technique.

The research results were as follow:

  1. The problems of Academic Administration of Secondary Schools Muang Nakhon Sawan under the Supervision of the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 42 as a whole is at a middle level. When considered aspect by aspect found that the highest problem is Internal Quality Assurance. The second problem is Curriclum Management. The third problem is Educational Supervision.

The Guidelines for Academic Administration of Secondary Schools Muang Nakhon Sawan under the Supervision of the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 42. amount 7 aspect comprise the following 1) Curriclum Management 2) Learning process Development 3) Media innovation and information technology 4) Educational Research 5) Learning Evaluation 6) Educational Supervision 7) Internal Quality Assurance
