Abstract

 The purpose of this research is to study the relationship between the job characteristics and organizational commitment of the employees of Kasikorn Leasing Company Limited Head Office. The sample size was 201 operation officers and the questionnaire was used as a measuring tool for data collection. The statistical analyzes used are frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, One-Way ANOVA and Multiple Regression analysis at statistical significance level is 0.05

The demographic analysis revealed that the operation officers with gender, level of education, salary and department did not affect the organizational commitment but age and duration of employment did affect organizational commitment at statistical significance of 0.05. The influence of the job characteristics include skill variety, task identity, task significance, autonomy, and feedback  related to the commitment show that the task identity and autonomy did not affect the organizational commitment. The skills variety, the task significance and feedback of jobs characteristics did affect the organizational commitment of the officers of Kasikorn Leasing Company Limited at statistical significance of 0.05 levels.
