FACTORS AFFECTING THE STOCK PRICE OF PTT EXPLORATION AND PRODUCTION PUBLIC COMPANY (PTTEP)

Abstract

The objective of the study of Factors Affecting the stock price of  PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP) is to study  factor that determine stock price of  PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP). The  factors uses in this study are the Energy Price Index (ENERG), the Three-Month Fix Interest Rate (INT), the Oil price (NYMEX), the  Gold Price (GOLD), and Inflation Rate (INF). The monthly data of January 2013 to December 2017; 60 months in total. Multiple Linear Regressions Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) is used to analyze the data.                 

The results shows that, the Energy Price Index (ENERG), the Oil price (NYMEX), statistically are positively affect  the stock price of  PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited at the significance level of  0.05 and the Three-Months Fix Interest Rate (INT) have negative relationship statistically.
