Organizational culture which affect developing of innovation, case study of Government Housing Bank, Head Office

Abstract

The purposes of this research were 1) To study the individual factor and organizational culture which affects development of innovation 2) To make recommendation how to effectively promote new innovation in the organization. Research was conducted by collecting questionnaire from 200 employees in Government Housing Bank, Head office and using a statistic tool to process and analyze data which include of frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, T-test, F-test and multiple regressions.
In this research, the majority of the population were female, age between 31-40 years, bachelor degree or equivalent, single, more than 5 year period of work , salary more than 50,000 baht and job grade between 4-8. Their opinion about organizational culture was at high level. Breakdown into category, the highest was found in aspect of success, moderate in aspect of relationship and lowest in aspect of people. Study of individual factor showed that different period of work, salary and job grade create a different impact to the development of innovation with statistical significance at 0.05. In addition, organizational culture in aspect of people and aspect of the relationship will promote development of innovation among employee in Government Housing Bank, Head office with statistical significance at 0.05.
