Factors influencing decision-making to use online queuing service of Government Housing Bank

Abstract

Study of the factors influencing decision-making to use online queuing service of Government Housing Bank had the objective to (1) study the factor influencing demography to decision-making to use online queuing service of Government Housing Bank (2) to study the factors on accepting the technology to decision-making to use online queuing service of Government Housing Bank (3) to study factor on accepting characteristics of the innovation to decision-making to use online queuing service of Government Housing Bank.
From the study, it was found that 200 questionnaire respondents were mostly female with the age between 25-44 years old, single status with bachelor degree level, occupation of government official and having average income per month between 15,000-25,000 baht.
From the questionnaire, it was found that the factors influencing decision-making to use online queuing service of Government Housing Bank were as follows. (1) Accepting technology on awareness of the benefit of technology which mostly was convenience with the means of 4.31 and the simplicity was saving time with the means at 4.12. (2) Accepting innovation on comparison characteristics was saving time with the means of 4.19. As for the compatible characteristics, mostly it was advancement with the means of 4.31. As for complication, mostly it was convenience with the means of 4.20. As for trial aspect, mostly it was free service with the means of 4.14. Aspect of observability, mostly it could be used everywhere with the means of 4.22. As for determination, mostly it was understanding and convenience in using the service with the means of 4.1.
From the analysis of the in-depth interview on opinions regarding the factors influencing decision-making to use online queuing service of Government Housing Bank with 10 sample people, it was found that the main factors were 1) realizing benefits 2) simplicity of use 3) comparative of beneficial characteristics 4) characteristics of complication 5) characteristics of trial. Therefore, there was accepting of technology and innovation of this application. From the analysis from the questionnaire and in-depth interview in 2 formats after analyzing, it was found that the factors influencing decision-making to use online queuing service of Government Housing Bank were the same for 2 actors which were realization of benefits and comparative characteristics.
