THE RELATION BETWEEN WORK MOTIVATION AND WORK PERFORMANCE OF SALE PERSON AT XYZ LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY

Abstract

The research is to study The Relation between Work Motivation and Work Performance of Sale Person at XYZ Life Insurance Company. A questionnaire was used as the data collection instrument and analyzed by using SPSS. The statics used for the analysis include percentage, mean, standard deviation and analysis of multiple linear regressions. The findings reveal the following. The majority of sample groups were female, aged between 30-39 years, marital status/living together, Bachelor's Degree, work experience 3-5 years and an average monthly income of 20,001 – 30,000 bath. The work motivation and work performance overall level is good. The motivation factors overall was related to work performance with at moderate level of 0.05 significant. When examining each factor, I found that only one related to all work performance at moderate level of 0.05 significant is responsible, whereas motivation in salary and work itself was not significantly correlated with work performance.
