Vol 3 No 1 (2022): The World Radiography Day 2022 Conference: Rangsit University, Thailand

World Radiography Day (November 8th of every year) is an important day set to commemorate the discovery of X-rays, which were discovered on November 8, 1895. The importance of X-rays has played an important role since the diagnosis of internal structures by patients has not been pain-free, and has been further researched to lead to the use of X-rays for the treatment of diseases such as cancer, and also an important part of creating photos from DNA X-rays by Rosalind Elsie Franklin, leading to the discovery of a double thread structure of DNA. The Thai technical radiation industry was officially established by Asst. Prof.Dr.Suphot Angkaew, M.D. In 1965, the Radiation Technical School was established to produce quality radiologic technologists for the Thai public health industry. In 2020 –2021, the technical radiation profession is being upgraded and is considered to be a milestone by the establishment of the Technical Radiation Professional Council of Thailand.

On behalf of the organizers of the academic conference, it is hoped that the knowledge and research that has been published will benefit both interested parties and the technical radiation industry.
