This article aimed to describe how banana could be benefit for holistic healthcare in a perspective of Thai wisdom. Nutrients of banana including fiber, vitamin and mineral such as iron, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, carbohydrate, protein, vitamin A, B6, B12, and C are beneficial for the body and useful for health promotion, prevention, care, and rehabilitation. Furthermore, banana could alleviate symptoms of gastritis and constipation and decrease blood pressure. Different types of banana contain different nutritional values. Eating fresh banana and its products are helpful for health in promoting, protecting, alleviating, and curing diseases. It also helps prevent health problems, and therefore reduce healthcare cost of the country. Healthcare with Thai wisdom may be the most economical and beneficial ways to promote holistic health.
