Abstract

The objectives of this study are 1) to develop ones’ flute performance, 2) to introduce an effective and efficient approaches for flute rehearsal, 3) to introduce approaches of flute performance and 4) to be a reference material for a graduate recital. This study is a collection of information gathering from text books, articles and the internet. As a result, researcher crystallizes all the said ideas and become a source of approaches for rehearsal, analysis as well as conclusion toward enthusiastic flutists. In this connection, this study can be implemented not only with other classical flute and non-flute pieces such as woodwinds and brass instruments pieces composed by J.S. Bach but also including other composers’ pieces during the Baroque Period in order to reach a higher level of effective rehearsal.
