LEARNING PROVISION THROUGH REAL LIFE INFORMATION TO PROMOTE STATISTICAL LITERACY OF GRADE 11 STUDENTS

Abstract

The aim of this research was to study the statistical literacy of grade 11 students learning through real life information from 44 students at Wattanothai Payap school in the second semester of the academic year 2017. The research instruments were 17 lesson plans, teacher’s field note and statistical literacy test. The level of statistical literacy is analyzed through the framework of Sharma (2017). The results showed that students’ statistical literacy were at level 4 from 6 levels. Students at this level give appropriate response, but non-critical engagement with context.
