RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN JOB CHARACTERISTICS AND ORGANIZATIONAL CITIZEN BEHAVIOR BY BUZZEBEES CO., LTD.

Abstract

The main objective of this study is to determine the relationship between Job Characteristics and Organizational Citizen Behavior by Buzzebees Co., Ltd. The purpose of this study is to suggest developing Job Characteristics and organizational structure. Build organizational citizen to strengthen great relationship, trust to collaborate with one another, perform tasks efficiently and sacrifice to causes Organizational Citizen Behavior.

Questionnaires were distributed to all the respondents. The samples were 108 respondents who are current permanent employees from Buzzebees Co., Ltd. Involved were being surveyed using Krejcie and Morgan table. Descriptive statistics are used to analyze the data, Pearson Correlation and Multiple Regression Analysis were used to analyze the data in this study.

Results indicate that respondents were primarily female, aged between 26-30 years old, level officer, have a Bachelor’s degree and have worked between 2-3 years. Five demographic variables were gender, age, position, education level and length of employment affecting to Organizational Citizen Behavior do not contributed.

Meanwhile, there is a significant relation between Job Characteristics and Organizational Citizen Behavior. Factors that contributed were Skill variety, Task significance and Feedback. Also elements of Job Characteristics show that Feedback had the greatest contributed to Organizational Citizen Behavior following by Task significance and Skill variety. Buzzebees Co., Ltd. Employee was in high level concerning Job Characteristics and in high level concerning Organizational Citizen Behavior.
