The Use of Classroom Response Tools for Nursing Education in the Digital Age

Abstract

Presently, technology has a greater impact on the lifestyle of people in society including learning and teaching methods, which needs to be adjusted to keep up with technological changes. Learning methods of the students require a way to access easily, anywhere and anytime; therefore, a proactive learning and teaching method is likely to be important and popular. However, it requires digital tools to facilitate communication between teachers and learners. This article aims to explain the classroom response tools, a part of digital tools, which could help students participate in learning and teaching methods based on the concept of proactive learning. It comprises Kahoot and Quizizz programs that the teachers can apply among the steps of preparation, teaching, and evaluation to achieve learning and teaching method effectively.
