Study of reasons and guidelines for reducing the number of lapsed relief fund deposit policies, BAAC Mob Rak 1/1 in the form of loan protection of BAAC, Uthumphonphisai branch, Sisaket province

Abstract

This study aimed to study the reasons and guidelines for reducing the number of lapsed relief fund deposit policies, BAAC Mob Rak 1/1 in the form of loan protection of BAAC, Uthumphon Phisai branch, Sisaket province which constantly increasing every year by comparing the data from fiscal year 2017 to fiscal year 2019.  The quantitative data analysis method was from the questionnaires of 310 customers that have been or have been used the relief fund deposit, BAAC Mob Rak 1/1 by using behavioral study principles and marketing mix theory as a guideline for constructing questionnaires.  The qualitative data was from the interviewing of 31 employees of BAAC, Uthumphon Phisai Branch, to study their motivation in working.  The result revealed that the reasons for the lapse of relief fund deposit policy were the customer wanted to reduce the cost burden, the customer could not remember the policy maturity date, the customer did not study and understand the product, and employees paid more attention the increasing of new depositors.  From the results, the researcher advises proper ways to reduce the number of lapsed relief fund deposit policies with loan protection, BAAC Mob Rak 1/1 of BAAC, Uthumphon Phisai branch, Sisaket province by enhancing efficiency in delivering policy renewal reminders.
