Abstract

This research paper examines the diversification of investments in six crypto-currency assets, namely Bitcoin (BTC), Litecoin (LTC), Ripple (XRP), Stellar (XLM), Monero (XMR), Dash (DAS), and whether they can trade. instead of the asset type Commodities such as Gold and Oil or not, therefore, diversification in several assets, including securities (Market Cap Top10) of the Stock Exchange of Thailand. One-Year Government Bonds (Bond), Oil, Gold and 6 Cryptocurrencies to find portfolios in commodities and crypto-asset portfolios and compare returns and investment risks. From a total of 20 investment models, all portfolios are invested in stocks and government bonds. Over a 7-year investment period, the data used as daily data, from 2015 to 2021, the study found that the returns and risks in portfolios with investments in cryptocurrencies were higher. low risk diversification.
