THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN MOTIVATION TO WORK AND ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITMENT OF 50 SAVINGS AND CREDIT COOPERATIVES IN BANGKOK AND NONTHABURI’S EMPLOYEES

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to investigate the employees’ motivations influencing the organizational commitment of 50 savings and credit cooperatives in Bangkok and Nonthaburi’s. The tool used to collect data was a close-ended questionnaire. Descriptive statistics and inferential statistics were used to test the variance of one-way ANOVA and multiple regression analysis. The results showed that most of the sample detail was female aged 31-40 years old, marital status; single, education level; bachelor’s degree, salary ranges between 15,001-30,000 baht and duration of work experience; more than 20 years. From the analysis, motivation to work factors in job security, work itself, responsibility, achievement and supervision related to organizational commitment with the Savings and Credit Cooperatives’ employees with level of statistical significance 0.05.
