APPLICATION OF WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT STRATEGIES TO OPTIMIZE COLD STORAGE MANAGEMENT CASE STUDY: PITI CENTER COLD STORAGE COMPANY LIMITED

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to study the management of cold storage for efficiency and to reduce the problems of damaged and lost goods in the cold store, a case study of Piti Center Co., Ltd. The research used a method of surveing with instruments were as follows: (1) Parameter statistics, (2) Qualitative statistic, (3) Independent t-Test, (4) Variance analysis F-Test and (5) Multiple regression analysis.

The research results found factors affecting efficiency in warehouse management process, case study of Pity Center Refrigerant Co., Ltd.  For the analyses to find variables affecting warehouse efficiency, the researcher has taken the measurement values of the five independent variables used in the study: 1) FIFO 2) Cross Docking    3) WMS 4) Sorting by product codes and 5) Dependent variables, i.e. an efficiency in warehouse control within the company's warehouse.
