FACTORS AFFECTING WORK EFFICIENCY OF THE PERSONNEL AT FISCAL POLICY OFFICE
Abstract
The purposes of this independent study are to study 1) The demographic factors affecting work efficiency of the personnel at Fiscal Policy office, 2) The motivation factors affecting work efficiency of the personnel at Fiscal Policy office, and 3) The hygiene factors which affect on work efficiency of the personnel at Fiscal Policy office. The methodology of this study is questionnaires to the sample group of 214 the personnel at Fiscal Policy office and interpreting information by applying statistics, i.e. frequency, percentage, mean, t-test , F-test and multiple regression. The research results can be summed up as follows. The results of the demographic factors were that most of the personnel are single females aged between 31 to 40 years old. They are temporary employees who have worked at Fiscal Policy office for 1 to 5 years and monthly salary between 10,001 to 20,000 bahts. The study results of the motivation factors of personnel at Fiscal Policy office showed that work achievement is the most significant, followed by responsibility and career progress respectively. The study results of the hygiene factors of personnel at Fiscal Policy office illustrated that interpersonal relationship is the most significant, followed by work environments. The results of testing hypothesis demonstrated that education levels and job positions can affect differently on work efficiency of personnel at Fiscal Policy office. In addition, by using hypothesis testing, the study results showed that motivation factors would affect the work efficiency of personnel at Fiscal Policy office. For more details of motivation factors, the study results showed that responsibility has the greatest effect on work efficiency, followed by work achievement and respect from colleagues had the least impact. The power of prediction was 55.8 percent(R= 0.747). The study results showed that hygiene factors would affect the work efficiency of personnel at Fiscal Policy office. For more details of hygiene factors, the study results showed that work stability had the greatest affect the work efficiency, followed by work environments, and interpersonal relationship with a remuneration had the least impact. The power of prediction was 39.9 percent(R= 0.632).
