KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT FACTORS AFFECTING TO WORK EFFICIENCY OF EMPLOYEES: A CASE STUDY OF THAI AIRWAYS COMPANY AT SUVARNABHUMI AIRPORT

Abstract

The objectives of this independent study were to study: (1) Personal characteristics to performance efficiency of personnel Thai Airways International Public Company Limited at Suvarnabhumi airport, and (2) Knowledge management factors to performance efficiency of personnel Thai Airways International Public Company Limited at the Suvarnabhumi airport. The populations totally are 10,906 people in academic year 2559. The samples consisted of 400 participants and descriptive statistics used are frequencies, percentages, means, standard deviations and inferential statistics, i.e. the independent sample t-test, one way ANOVA, LSD and multiple regression analysis.

The research results are as followings: Most of the respondents were female (75.50%) and were in the age range of 31-35 years (23.75%). More than half did not have bachelor’s degree (56.50%). Almost half of them were married (47.25%). The monthly income was 15,001-20,000 baht (33.25%) and has been working less than a year (27.75%). The highest average of factors affecting the knowledge management was knowledge creation and acquisition follow by the knowledge organization, knowledge codification and refinement and knowledge access and application. These factors affected with personnel of Thai Airways International Public Company Limited at the Suvarnabhumi airport with the statistical significance level of 0.05 with a co-prediction of the knowledge management of the staffs at 59 percent.
