FACTORS AFFECTING THE SATISFACTION IN PERFORMING AS TEACHERS IN MUEANG DISTRICT UNDER SUPHANBURI EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE

Abstract

The purposes of this study are 1) to study the work factors affecting the satisfaction in performing of the teachers in Mueang District under Suphanburi primary educational service area office, and (2) to study the management factors affecting the satisfaction in performing as teachers in Mueang District, under Suphanburi primary educational service area office. The population in this study is 636 teachers in Mueng District, under Suphanburi primary educational service area office for the year 2016. Surveying is the method used in this study by collecting the information from 300 questionnaires. Hypothesis test used is multiple regression analysis.

According to descriptive statistics analysis, the results of the study show that 76% of people who responded to the survey are female. 66.3% of the survey responder are adults aged over 40 years old. A high percentage (67%) of survey responder has a bachelor's degree, and 68% of the population have at least ten years experiences in teaching. The analysis of preference in performing shows that for work factors, the factor that have the most impact to performing preference is work structure. The following factors are types of work and the distance between work place and their resident, respectively. In management factors, the factor that has the most impact to preference in performing is work responsibility, following by work stability and relationship with colleague, respectively.

                    The results of hypothesis test shows                   

1) For work factors such as types of work, distance between work place, and resident and work structure, affect the preference in performing as teacher with statistical significance level 0.05. The power of prediction is 30.0.                   

2) For management factors such as work stability, the progress in position, relationship with colleague, and work stability, affect the preference in performing as teacher with statistical significance level 0.05. The power of prediction is 50.3.
