Abstract

The objective of this study was to investigate the causes of the problem of the reduction of the life support deposit amount and to find a solution to the reduction of the life support deposit amount of the Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives, Pako Branch, Udon Thani Province. The sample used in this research consisted of 370 customers of Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives, Pako Branch, Udon Thani Province, and 6 employees of branch who were involved in life support deposit products. The results of the study showed that the cause for the Life Support Deposit Policy of some of the customer's BAAC was ineffective due to insufficient funds in the account to pay for the insurance premiums. The reason for choosing to purchase the BAAC Life Support Deposit Policy of most of the sample were to protect against credit risk. Most of the people who influenced the decision to purchase the BAAC Life Support Deposit Policy were customer’s family members. The appropriate option is public relations and offering the BAAC Life Support Deposit Policy offsite which is proactive strategy, cost-effective and able to provide immediate service to customers who are interested in the product. It will also be able to gain money from the BAAC Life Support Deposit Policy rapidly and continuously.
