This research aimed to develop a teaching and learning model of Davi’s practical skills on Intervals in Ear Training and Singing Course for the 1st year Royal Thai Air Force School of Music students; using Thai songs and to investigate the students’ achievement in ear training skills. The research instruments consisted of eight lesson plans; each lesson was 90 minutes long, and a 20-item pretest and a 20-item posttest. Percentage, standard deviation as well as Nonparametric Statistics: The Wilcoxon Matched Pairs Signed – Ranks Test were used to analyze the data. The results revealed that the teaching and learning model of Davi’s practical skills on Intervals in Ear Training and Singing Course for the 1st year Royal Thai Air Force School of Music Students; using Thai songs was able to improve the students’ ear training skill achievement effectively. An average posttest score (M = 14.29, SD = 3.69) was higher than an average pretest score M = 9.36, SD = 5.23), and the level of statistical significance was .002 which was lower than .05. This showed the positively significant difference in students’ achievement before and after the study.
