FACTORS AFFECTING THE QUANTITY OF HOUSING LOAN AT GOVERNMENT SAVINGS BANK, TESCO LOTUS NADEE UDONTHANI BRANCH

Abstract

The objective of this paper was to investigate factors affecting the quantity of housing loan at Government savings bank, Tesco lotus nadeeudonthani branch, the purpose is to study the factors that affect the amount of creditand the results can be useasguideline for the operation of the Government Savings Bank

In carrying out this investigation, the researcher collected relevant quarterly time series secondary data from the period between the first quarters of 2008 to the fourth quarter of 2017, a total of 40 quarters. The relevant data comprise of quantity of total housing loan at Government savings bank,Tesco lotus nadeeudonthani branch, minimum retail rate at Goverment saving bank, the non-performing loan of Government savings bank ,Tesco lotus nadeeudonthani branch , gross domestic product and Inflation rate ,The data were collected from Government Savings bank annual reports, books, papers, related researchs and Internet analyzed using the Econometric software program by applying The Multiple Regression Analysis

The findings showed that the factor affecting the quantity of total hosing loan at Government savings bank, Tesco lotus nadeeudonthani branch which was in accordance with the set hypotheses posited for this inquiry was the minimum retail rate at Goverment saving bank and gross domestic product at the 95 % confidence level. Whereas, the non-performing loans of the Government Savings Bank, Tesco Lotus NadeeUdonThani Branch and inflation rate showed negative relationship with the amounts of housing loan of the Government Savings Bank, Tesco Lotus NadeeUdonthani Branch at the 95% confidence level in accordance to, the hypothesis set forth.
