Improving Invertory Management Efficiency of Lucky Mobile Phone Shop

Abstract

This article presents a case study of Lucky Mobile Phone Shop store inventory management optimization to find a plan and control the order and storage to a level that is suitable for the needs of the business. The study found that the order for each item exceeds the customer’s demand due to the shop lacks good planning and efficiency. This causes a large number of inventories resulting in investment sinking and lost investment opportunities. The researcher analyzed the inventory turnover rate and used the analysis results to divide the products A, B, C according to the inventory turnover rate. This will help the shop order products based on the lead time . Ordering products by use the inventory turnover rate will help the shop to have the products ready for sell. It is determined from the list of best-selling products in order.

The results of the study found that the number of phone stocks in both branches decreased from 8,830,130 baht to 8,069,130 amounts to 8.61% and the number of equipment stocks in both branches decreased from 947,490 baht to 826,860 baht, amounts to 12.73%.
