QUALITY OF WORK LIFE FACTOR AFFECTING EMPLOYEE’S ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITMENT OF PLASTIC COMPANY GROUP IN RAMA II AREA

Abstract

This research is a survey research. The purposes of this descriptive research were studied the personal factors affecting organizational commitment of the employees of the plastic manufacturing companies in Rama 2 and the quality of working life factors affecting organizational commitment of the employees of the plastic manufacturing companies in Rama 2. 400 subjects were the employees of the plastic manufacturing companies in Rama 2. The research questionnaire was adapted from the authoritative questionnaire divided into 4 parts: the Demographic Characteristic Scale, the quality of working life factors, the organizational engagement and Suggestions and Solutions. The reliability coefficients were 0.853, respectively. Data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and the relational statistic i.e. t-Test F-test and Multiple regression analysis.

The results of this study: 1) The quality of working life factors of the plastic manufacturing companies in Rama 2: found that; The level of opinion towards the quality of working life factors in overall performance was moderate. 2)Organizational commitment of the plastic manufacturing companies in Rama 2: found that;  The level of opinion towards the support factors in overall performance was moderate. (x̄ =2.86) and 3) Hypothesis test results; The quality of working life factors affect Organizational commitment of the plastic manufacturing companies in Rama 2; the research results were found that terms of compensation, that are adequate and fair and collaboration and relationships with other people affecting Organizational commitment of the plastic manufacturing companies in Rama 2, the difference was statistically significant at the 0.05 level.
